this morning while perusing tumblr, i saw wwd had included nanette in their spring 2013 trend roundup.
“landscape prints are going strong and, for spring, many of them come in tropical floral motifs.”

there is something extra exciting about this fall: pantsuits.
you heard me, pantsuits. remember that time when you felt like matching your blazer to bottom was very faux pas?
not anymore. last week while nanette hosted her notting hill london shop party, she wore this ah-mazing pantsuit
from her latest collection. doesn’t it look so chic and not stuffy at all? i know what the next addition to my fall closet
will be ;)

as the weather gets colder by the day, i’m desperately holding onto what i feel are the very last days of warm
weather. recently i paired my favorite weekend cutoffs with nanette’s sun sign top and runway loafers. while
the warmer days are becoming sparse, i feel like my closet is going to do a 180 and i know that many of the pieces
i love won’t be wearable. there are some pieces, though, that have proven to be transitional in style and color for
most seasons. nanette’s sun sign top is one of them. in about a month i will pair the top with my version of fall
staples: jet black cigarette jeans and a leather jacket.
be sure to note: transitional wardrobes are the best wardrobes.
