i got my start at nanette lepore interning in the showroom my freshman year of college, a month after
i had moved to new york city from my small farm town in maryland. i felt as if i had struck gold while
looking at the crisp white interior and perfectly finger-spaced samples hanging from steel during my
interview. for the six months i interned in the showroom and now as a social media intern, i still get
those feelings every time i step foot in nanette’s beautiful top-floor showroom.
